Words In Print brings writing, editing, book design and publishing support together around your project. We begin by listening to what you want your book to become, and who you want to read it.

Our experience helps us ask the right questions, organise your material and move the work forward. You’ll know who is working on your book, what happens next and when you’ll have a chance to review the pages.

From a first phone conversation to the final proof, we pay attention to the words, photographs and details that matter to you. Based in Brisbane, we work over the phone and online, with in-person conversations by arrangement.

Do I need a finished manuscript?

No. You can start with an idea, memories, notes or a draft. We’ll decide together what kind of help will move your project forward.

Can you help with just one part?

Yes. You might need coaching, editing, proofreading, formatting or help preparing for publication. You can enquire about an individual service.

What does it cost?

The cost depends on the length of your book, its current stage and the work involved. Tell us a little about the project and we’ll discuss the scope and provide a tailored quote.

Can a book be just for my family?

Absolutely. A life story or family history can be prepared for private sharing. Your intended readers help guide the format and publishing decisions.
